I've done this to a few people in the past and regret it. It just felt right to go our separate ways at the time. But reconnecting is almost impossible because in the back of my mind I know I betrayed their trust. Being a human is hard. So many conflicting desires and emotions that work against each other. The more I try to make sense of it all, the more lost I feel.
